I'd Share ANYTHING With YOU!

Sooooooo, every year around my birthday time, my Mom makes me my own personal batch of my very favorite cookies. I honestly have no idea what they are called or how they are made, I only know that I love them.....alot. My family always teases me because I can hardly wait for my cookies to arrive and refuse to share them with ANYONE once they do. Seriously. I hide them. I'm normally a very giving person, but when it comes to THESE cookies.....not so much.
That is....until THIS guy came around...

Just look at him go! I think he may even love "my" cookies as much as I do!!! The fact that he is sinking his gums into one of these cookies speaks VOLUMES about how much I adore him!
I love you my little cookie monster!
Thanks SO MUCH for my cookies, Mom - Scooty Bug and I love them!!!

Fast Forward, Please!

Look who's starting to crawl!!!
Yep, Scooty Bug is ON THE MOVE! He's got the crawling stance down really well and has a good, strong "engine". The only problem is with his "gears" - as of right now, they are stuck in reverse.........which leaves him getting stuck in some very awkward places!

Every single time I would move Weston to the middle of the playroom, he'd end up right back here under the table - silly boy. I'm sure it's only a matter of time until he shifts his gears into "drive" and will be full speed ahead!!!
I LOVE YOU, MY "BACKWARDS" BOOGITY BOO!

Tasmanian Devil!

This precious baby is rapidly becoming "The Tasmanian Devil II". If you've ever seen the cartoon character, Taz, you know that he is a wild guy who spins around, out of control, leaving chaos and destruction in his wake.
Yep, I'd say that pretty much sums up ol' Scooty Bug these days....
Nothing, and I do mean NOTHING is safe in this boy's path...just look at him ready to pounce on anything he can possibly get his hands on!
And then, the look of shock when I attempt to "foil his plans"!
And, finally, the inevitable melt down when being told "NO"!
Poor, poor Lishy...........Granny is just so, so mean - ha!
I love you, my little Destructo!!!!

Happy Thanksgiving!

It was wonderful to be together with Scooty on his very first Thanksgiving!
We had LOTS of people at our house, including Grandpa & me, of course,
Brian, Bailey, Scooty himself, Braydon, Chloe, Chloe's parents, Brenner, Kyle and "Aunt" Robin.
Weston, as always, looked totally adorable!
What a sweet butterball turkey he is!

"Aunt" Robin, "famous" for her great gifts, brought Weston the cutest little stuffed turkey and Thanksgiving book.

I just LOVED Weston's Thanksgiving shirt!

We all had a good day and stuffed ourselves silly!
I am SO thankful for the gift of Weston!

8 months old!

Guess who is 8 months old today??? Yep, it's our precious Squishious......
ummmm....he really IS precious despite the fact that he has mastered the technique of the
ULTIMATE FIT!...
This is his GIVE ME MY BREAKFAST AND GIVE ME IT NOW fit!

This would be his instant recovery once he sees that I am indeed putting the tray onto his high chair and bringing in the grub. Sly fox.

ahhhhhh..........totally content and munching down on Granny's famous pancakes!

"SEEFOOD"

Hard to believe that this sweet, innocent little face is the same kiddo from the top photo, huh???
Yep, he's a professional chameleon alright. He can go from sweet to beast and back to sweet in the blink of an eye! THIS little face is what gets him all kinds of treats from his Granny.
Yes, I'm weak...but how could I possibly resist???
This would be our first attempt at Scooty's monthly bday picture. I've been using the chalkboard to post his age the last few months, but thought I'd try the paper method one more time. As you can see, it's not working so much... Lish is totally eating the prop.

Just look at that adorably scrunched up nose as he feasts on the paper!

Luckily Grandpa is home today to help us "on the set".

Wow! What a destructive little guy!

OK, Granny - all done with that little snack.
Here I am looking ever so scrumptious on my special 8 month day!!!!
I LOVE YOU, MY LITTLE GRINCH!

Toesies...

So sweet. So soft. Sooooooo loved!

I'm SOOOO Glad It's Monday!

Yes, you read that title correctly - I'm soooo glad it's Monday. Never thought I'd hear those words escape my lips, but...........when I've gone the WHOLE ENTIRE weekend without seeing my Scooty Bug, you better believe I'm glad it's Monday cuz that means that he is BACK WITH HIS GRANNY - YIPPEE!!!

Oh, that precious face........how I've missed it!

Weston was really glad to be back with me (and this week Grandpa & Brenner too!), his toys and his friends.

I could watch him play for hours. I love how he interacts with the other kiddos and tries to "work" all of his toys. Such a smart squishious!

Since Grandpa is on vacation for the Thanksgiving week (woo hoo!), he and Lishy decided to put up the Christmas lights outside.

Weston was WAY more interested in the box and plastic guards that the lights came in than actually hanging them, but he gave his Grandpa lots of moral support while he dangled off of the ladder scaring me half to death!

Don't forget THIS light, Grandpa!

Wait!!! Let me taste it real quick first!

DELICIOUS!
It's SO SO fun to help Grandpa!

Hmmmm.......I Wonder Which It Is Going To Be???

Random Ramblings..........cuz EVERYTHING about our Scoots is spectacular to ME!

Just a typical mid-morning with my Loody Doo. I love those kind of days - slow, predictable, cozy and full of love for my Scooty Bug! I read to Weston every single day - numerous times a day. I think BOOKS are awesome and SOOOO important to share with kids. These are two books that I have read to Weston nearly every day since he has been born. I love them. He loves them. Best of all, he KNOWS them - I guarantee it. He reacts to these two particular books completely differently than he does to others because he simply knows them so well. He always grabs at books and wants to turn the pages etc. etc. But, when it comes to THESE two books, he always sits very, very still and just truly listens to me read to him. I know that he recognizes each word and the same tone that I always use in my voice when reading these books to him. It's a special, special time and the words & feelings that these books convey say so much about what Weston means to me.

He's always such a happy little guy after story time!

Now check out THIS face!!!! HA! This is Licious post-lunch. This boy just downed chicken parmesan with noodles, okra and peaches. Yes, he's 7 months old. Yes, he can and will eat everything. No, he doesn't have a single solitary tooth yet. What a genius baby. I love knowing that I give him healthy and nutritious meals. I love the way he eats and makes the "mmmmmm" sound the entire time. So great.

Finishing up his lunch with a couple of chocolate teddy grahams. Pure contentment!

When he looks up at me like this with his beautiful baby blues, I am soooo done for.
YOU ARE MY ABSOLUTE HEARTBEAT, LITTLE BOY!!!!!

Peek A Boo....I See You!

I so love seeing this little face peeking out at me when I know that Lishy is awake from his nap!

Pure deliciousness.

Just look at that sweet face.........and those adorably kissable little toes!

Every time Scoots takes his nap, I can hardly wait to get to him when he wakes back up!

Mmmmmm................. perfection in EVERY SINGLE WAY!

I love you, Weston Scott Archer...........and I love those adorable jammies you have on today!
You make my heart smile. :)

A New Buddy for Boogity Bean!

You may remember some previous posts where I mentioned that our sweet Scooty Bug would be getting a brand new buddy close to Thanksgiving time. He's here!
Introducing....................Reed Andrew Hutchinson!!!

Isn't he precious??? Reed belongs to Donny & Gail. And, Gail belongs to Scooty's "Uncle" Jim and "Aunt" Pat who have been featured numerous times in Weston's blog. We are SOOOOO excited for their ENTIRE family!!! What a blessing little Reed already is to everyone!

Here is Reed's ultra proud "Gran" - Pat! I am really, really excited that we can share the joy of being "Grannies" together!!! I love Pat and treasure our friendship so much. It will be such fun to do "Granny" things together! Grandbabies are the BEST! Bailey and I have happily passed along lots of Boogity's things to Reed. It is so great to see everything being used again and we are so glad to be able to share!

And here are these sweet babies meeting for the very first time - such a cherished moment!

I adore this picture. I love the way that Weston is just looking at Reed so intently. I know that they are going to be such good friends.

Welcome to the world, baby Reed! Your Mommy & Daddy sure went through alot of hard work to get you here! We are glad to be a part of your life!
