Bailey's labor began at around noon on March 24th. She was supposed to have a scheduled c-section on the 25th, but my smart little Weston had plans of his own! It was great to be with Bailey throughout the day and to keep count of her contractions, etc. We decided to head for the hospital around 4:00 and Brian met us there. Within a very short time, we knew that we would be meeting Weston that day!
Being in the operating room when Weston was born was such a privilege and pleasure. I have always been so interested in obstetrics, so seeing my own grandchild brought into the world was just amazing. Bailey did such a great job and Brian encouraged her all the way. Bailey's doctor, Cynthia Robbins, was incredible throughout Bailey's pregnancy and I'm so grateful to her for allowing me to witness Weston's birth. It is a moment that I will never ever forget.
