It Would Be Pretty Tough...

to get ANY sweeter than this...

More Uncle Braydon Time!

Since Uncle Braydon is out of school for the winter holidays, he has gotten to spend lots more time at home with Scooty Bug! YIPPEE!

Here he is teaching Boogity Bean the fine art of sending text messages.

Now it's Scooty's turn!

These two boys have some crazy love goin' on, no doubt!

Lunch!

I just couldn't resist posting some of these adorable shots that I took of Weston at lunch today. He is always such a happy little man and, especially so, when it's chow time! Just ignore the "My First Thanksgiving" bib - I do know that it isn't Thanksgiving, but I love that bib anyway and couldn't possibly have used it only on Thanksgiving!
Lish is getting so good at using his fork and spoon all by himself!

There goes that crazy swirly tongue of his again!

MY BEAUTIFUL DELICIOUS BABY!!!
If you look really close, you can see the white of his tooth shining through his gums. It is literally right there! I think if I just pushed on his gums really hard, that sucker would finally pop through!

Now for dessert.....one of the super yummy cookies that Chloe made us for Christmas!

Now THAT'S the REAL way to enjoy a cookie!
I love you my sweet Cookie Monster!

Whew! Catch Up Time!

Wow! It's been a busy past few days for this little munchkin!

First of all, see that #9 on Scooty's shirt???? That's cuz he turned 9 months old on Christmas Eve!!! Ack!!! I just don't understand how the time can fly by so fast! Our precious Bug is getting so big and learning so much! He has almost mastered crawling forward but still prefers to keep his gears in reverse. That method gets him wherever he wants to go so he doesn't seem to have his mind set on changing anything. Weston hasn't sprouted a tooth yet, but that little dude is just below the surface - we can see it!!! I'm sure it will push through any day now.

Lish also celebrated his very first Christmas! Just look at all of the loot underneath our tree!
You better believe that the majority of this haul was for our Squishy!

He showed up at our house on Christmas Eve looking ever so scrumptious in an outfit that his "Auntie" Robin gave him before he was ever even born!

He just knows he's cute!

Do you see a difference in his hair??? He got his very first "big boy" haircut with the electric shears. He sat very still and didn't make a peep! I love his new cut, but I think it makes him look so much older - sniff, sniff...

Loving on Uncle Brenner.

And cheesin' it up with Uncle Braydon!

We had our traditional Christmas Eve Mexican food feast! While I took care of all of the last minute preparations, Weston snacked on a yummy tortilla!

Right after dinner, Scoots got to check out all of the goodies in his stocking!
He got matchbox cars, new pacifiers, goldfish, a new toothbrush etc. etc.

Then it was on to the "real" goods......here he is opening a gift from his buddy, Boston.

Next came his shopping cart with lots of fun foods & dishes to tote around inside.

Just cracking up from all of the fun!

There's Scooty's famous snake tongue - it ALWAYS makes an appearance when he is excited!

Waiting patiently to see what the next gift is!

Actually, Scooty Bug himself made the very BEST gift of all!

Check out the new camo backpack!!!

Everyone always says that it's the boxes the gifts come in that make for the most fun!

WOO HOO! A new firetruck!

Just a quick glimpse of the destruction! Our sweet Weston got so many great things!
I can't wait to play with him with all of his new stuff! It's a good thing that Brian, Bailey and Weston are moving to a big new house this week. With all the stash that Boogity Bean got from "Santa", they are gonna need all the room they can get!

Snuggling with Daddy after the big night!

Today it was back to Granny's house for daycare!
Scoots was thrilled to see all of his friends...

although he still picks on poor Boston.

It was wonderful to have a week off, but I'm glad to be back in my normal routine.

And SO glad to have shared in this little Smooshie's very first Christmas.
I LOVE YOU, WESTON!!!

Boogity Bean At The Park!

Because we were having yet another unseasonably warm day, I decided to load up the Boogity and stroll down to the park!

Yes, it's warm outside, but I didn't want to take any chances on having the wind blow into Weston's ears - hence the hooded jacket. He STILL has a double ear infection........doc started him on the 3rd different antibiotic yesterday. They ARE healing, just VERY slowly. Grrrrrr. I just want him to be 100% better already!

Those ol' ears definitely weren't bothering my Bean Sprout while he was swinging!
Just LOOK at his precious reaction to the fun! Lordy be, this grandbaby of mine is EDIBLE!

I. Could. Just. SQUISH. Him!!!

Next came the slide! WHEE!!!

Scoots was totally fascinated with all of the leaves and loved sitting in them and hearing them crunch whenever he picked them up - so cute!

What a GORGEOUS baby he is!!!
I LOVE YOU, WESTON SCOTT ARCHER & I HAD SUCH FUN WITH YOU AT THE PARK!!!
Thanks for being my DREAM COME TRUE!
