Bailey & Boogity's First Road Trip!

A little while ago, Bailey and Scoober left on their first road trip to SA to see Brian since he has already begun his new job there. The rental home that they are moving into in Devine won't be available for a few more weeks so Bailey and Weston are still here in Ft. Worth (woo hoo!).

They came by for a quick visit first...

Here's my Delicious Little Man. He is so so tired.....Bailey didn't put him down for a morning nap because she was hoping that he would sleep for most of the car trip.

We all miss him SO much now that he isn't here as often. Even ol' Jager needed to shower him with kisses!

Boogs decided to help me with a little housecleaning before his trip.
That boy LOVES to clean - truly MY grandchild!
Then he was off to find his favorite toy It is this little blue radio thing. He adores it and dances like crazy when it's on. Only today.......it was apparently in need of new batteries and didn't make a sound when Weston pushed the yellow "on" button.

This was his very panicked reaction.

Then Weston just threw it down on the floor in complete disgust.

Have no fear, however, Granny came to the rescue with new batteries and Scoobs was in business once again.

After all that drama, it was time for some of Granny's spinach/mushroom pizza - YUMMO!

Pizza makes EVERYTHING better!

I just LOVE Lishy's camo shorts and little camo Crocs!

Even Bailey was sportin' her camo duds today!

Bye, Bailey and Weston - I love you both SO much and wish you a safe trip to SA!

Have fun!!!

A Scooby Visit!

As you know, Bailey retired from her job last Friday so Boogity Bean no longer stays with me during the day - SNIFF! It makes me sooooo happy when he comes for a visit!

Lish was thrilled to see all of his buddies and immediately ran into the playroom!

Just look at that precious smile and the sweet way that Weston has his arm draped on his friend Asher's shoulder - adorable!

Best of all, look at this sneaky mischievous grin and sly little peek-a-boo look that Weston gave us. He totally cracks me up!
Thanks for coming to see me, Scoober. I love you to the moon and back a bazillion times!

Easter Saturday

We did our Easter celebration on Saturday this year because Brian planned to leave for his new job in Dilley (sniff, sniff) early Sunday. When Bailey and Brian bought their new house here in Ft. Worth a few short months ago, we had all kinds of plans about spending all of the holidays at their new digs. Well, as it turns out, this Easter is going to be the only one since their move is just a few weeks away. Ugh.

Boogity Bean was so happy when his Uncle Brenner arrived!

Then, Uncle Braydon showed up too - what handsome boys! Let's just ignore the "Beer Pong" shirt that Brenner is wearing for the sake of this post, as it certainly isn't Easter attire. He had come directly from spending the night at a friend's house and had borrowed the shirt. Teenagers. What are ya gonna do?

My three "babies". I love when they are all together.

This picture was taken to prove exactly who is the tallest of the Gold men. Grandpa still manages to eek out Brenner by a smidgeon and Braydon comes in third.

We had lots of yummy snacks, as you can see by the remnants of delicious fruit dip on Weston's sweet, kissable lips.

Of course, we dyed lots of eggs. In fact, I think Bailey bought every single kind of egg dying kit on the market - ha!

This egg matched Bailey's shirt! I love how young Bailey looks in these pics since she was makeup free - still looks like my baby girl and still hard for me to believe that she is a Mommy herself!

Between food, drinks and egg dye, Scoober was a MESS - just look at that shirt.

He was having a ball, however, spending lots of quality time with his fam.

Silly Uncle Braydon!

"Open wide, Uncle Braydon - I'll share my snacks with you!"

Priceless.

After a big dinner, Scoobs decided to ditch his clothes and kick back on the couch with his juice box to watch the Spurs............who ended up losing, darn it.

Naturally, the best part about having a juice box is playing with the straw!

Pretty soon, our little "Easter Bunny" was worn out and ready for his jammies.

All ready for bed!

Nighty night, my precious Weston - thanks for letting us share your first Easter with you!

New Shoes!

Now that Weston is 100% walking everywhere, B & B decided to have him professionally fitted for new shoes to be absolutely certain that he got the right size. So, off to Stride Rite they went. Turns out that he required a size 5 1/2-6 as opposed to the size 4 that Bailey thought he wore - just goes to show how fast our Little Man is growing!

He looks like such a BIG BOY with his new shoes and is so proud of them!

And, believe it or not, they make him even faster than he was before -
LOOK OUT, WORLD!

I love you, Weston!

Trust Me...

This seemingly innocent looking little toy can, within mere seconds, turn an otherwise fairly emotionally stable person into a blubbering, raving lunatic in serious need of permanent looney bin confinement.

Just take my word for it.

Three Of My VERY Favorite Snacks...

Those CHEEKS!

That BELLY!

Those TOESIES!

DELICIOUS!

The Countdown Is On...

I've known this day was coming, but it certainly doesn't make it any less difficult.

Today is the last day for Weston to be in my care. After today, Bailey will no longer be working and they will be moving in just one month. I have kept Weston every single weekday since he was born and Bailey returned to work. Although I am happy that Bailey will have the opportunity to be a full time Mom, I am sooooooo going to miss moments like these...

The friendship between Weston and Harper is incredible. For two little people to love each other so much is just priceless. They are always so happy to be together and I am so grateful that I got to witness so many precious times that they have shared. I hope they never forget them.
HUGE tears falling...

The Great White!

BEWARE OF SHARK!

He "attacks" if he doesn't get his way!
Wow!

My Little Helper Man!

Weston knows I like a clean house and always "helps" me vacuum.

Thanks, Little Man! I LOVE YOU!

If Today Is Any Indication...

it is going to be one HOT summer! I can't believe we have 90+ degrees and it is only April.

Ugh.

That kind of heat made for one very quick trip outside for some Scooty pictures.

It not only gets hotter every day, but my Scoober gets CUTER and BLONDER every day too!

What's this???? Daddy showed up early to pick up Weston. Boo. With time ticking away until the "Archer Move", I want all the time I can possibly get with my little man.

Looks like my Scooty feels the exact same way. He was NONE TOO HAPPY when he realized that his "mean ol' Daddy" was gonna take him away from his Granny's house - ha!

See ya tomorrow, Scoober - I love you so much and miss you already!
