Sick Scooty

Unfortunately, I haven't been able to post any pics of our precious Lish over the last couple of days because he is a sick little Scooty Bug and staying at home with his Mommy. Hopefully, he will GET WELL QUICK! I hate it that he is sick and miss him SOOOOO much!

Mornings with Brenner

As I've posted numerous times, Weston simply ADORES his Uncle Brenner. He gets soooo excited every single morning when he hears Brenner come out of his room. Just look at his sweet reaction when he sees Uncle Brenner for the first time today! Priceless...

He literally LIGHTS UP and I just love it! It is just so precious to me to see the interaction between these two VERY special boys in my life. I wish that Braydon could be here more often as well, because I know that Lish adores him too!

A big kiss before Brenner heads off to school!

WE LOVE YOU, WESTON SCOTT!!!

Yummy Fall Treats!

Caramel apples have ALWAYS been my very favorite fall treat! I make them every single year, and this year is no exception. The only difference is that now I can share the process with Chef Licious!!!

Here he is helping himself to the empty caramel bag and the package of sticks!
Now it's on to the apple tasting BEFORE they hit the caramels.... Boston even joined in on the fun and Weston was happy to give him a turn with the measuring spoon!

Mmmmm Mmmmmm good!

Remember, this child of ours has NO teeth.....but
Scooty Bug certainly doesn't let an insignificant little issue like that stop HIM!

Wait! It's time to stir the caramels already???

Does that mean that I'm gonna have to give up my fun whisk, Granny???

A tired Chef Licious with the finished product!

Uh uh uh.............maybe next year, my precious Pumpkin!!!
Thanks for helping!!! Granny adores you!

Seven Months Old!

Our little Boogity Bean turned 7 months old this past Sunday! And, let me tell you, these monthly birthday photo sessions are getting tougher all the time!

The only way I could get Weston to sit still even for a second was to give him his little hairbrush.

That didn't last long, however, and he was on the move!

I managed to get him "back in place" for a moment, but couldn't get him to flash me one of his beautiful smiles no matter what tricks I tried! I honestly think he is smirking at me....Little Stinker!

Then, he even attacked the props...
Boogs kept rubbing his little hands over the chalkboard so I had to keep rewriting the words -ACK! Let's just say that Scooty Bug did NOT appreciate me taking that chalkboard away from him each time I tried to fix it!

LOOK OUT!.......He's gearing up for one of his fits!!! Stand back.......I'm warning you!
I told you so.............................! I love you my uncooperative little 7 month old Licious! Granny is sorry for "forcing" you into yet another photo shoot. I won't do it again..........for at least another few minutes anyways!

This month, Weston's personality has become even more sparkly! His smiles melt my heart and his temper fits are still in the stage where they make us all laugh. I know this will change soon enough, so I'm enjoying the humor while I still can! No teeth yet for our Boogity, but there is absolutely NOTHING that he can't eat as though he had a mouthful of em'! Weston has just started to pull up into the crawling position and can get going backwards, but hasn't been able to propel himself forward quite yet. Scoots still showers his love on all of us and freely gives kisses and hugs. I still think that he is going to be a lefty, as he gets more and more coordinated with his hands. I think Weston's favorite things are being with his friends, being outside and snuggling up in ALL of his blankies! He is just simply the most precious, delicious, wonderful creation in the ENTIRE UNIVERSE!!!!! I LOVE YOU, WESTON!!!

More Weston and Boston

BFF's!!!

I have a feeling that these two are going to be serious partners in crime before too long!
Just look at those mischievous little faces already!!!
I feel more and more gray hairs sprouting just THINKING about it - ha!

Boogity's Buds!

It seems like Weston gets more and more interactive with his friends each and every day. It totally warms my heart to see the big smiles that spread across his face every time he sees one of his buddies. I'm so happy that Scoots has so many opportunities to be around other children and has already formed such great friendships. Here are just a few shots from the past couple of days...

Weston, Harper & Wade

Harper so sweetly shared her blue car with Lishy, and he LOVED it!

Asher teaching Weston and Wade how to work a new toy!
I pray that Weston always has good friends to share in his life. I love you, Licious!

Boogity Wants To Crawl!

Our Boogity Boo has been having lots of extra tummy time in order to strengthen those sweet arms and legs of his so he can CRAWL!

He gets soooo frustrated when he sees something that he really wants and it is just out of reach!

Let me at it!!!

Keep practicing, my precious pumpkin - before we know it, you'll be moving around EVERYWHERE!

I've Said It Before................

and I'll say it again.............Weston is OBSESSED with pens! I have no idea what the big attraction is, but that boy just freaks out whenever he sees a pen and wants it in his little hands ASAP! Who knows......maybe my sweet Lish will turn out to be a famous writer someday...or perhaps an artist like his Uncle Braydon! Whatever he decides to do, I know he'll be GREAT at it!

Here's to you and your pens, my sweet love!

Sweaty Scooty!

This afternoon, Weston was taking a nap when Brian and Bailey came to pick him up from my house after work. When Brian went into Weston's room to wake him up, he found one SWEATY SCOOTY! Lish was all cuddled up in his blankets and came out with some SERIOUS BED HEAD!

Just look at those rosy cheeks and those strawberry-blonde curls!

ACK! It looks like he stuck his fingers in a light socket or something! SO FUNNY!

I LOVE YOU, MY CRAZY-HAIRED BABY BOY!!!

WAAAAAY UP HIGH!

Recently, Scooty Bug got a real "lift" from his Grandpa! I'm not sure if he had more fun being up on Grandpa's shoulders or pulling Grandpa's hair!!! Either way, Weston had an awfully good time!

I LOVE THESE BOYS!

Way To Go, Uncle Brenner!

Weston's Uncle Brenner took FIRST place in his golf tournament this past Monday. In fact, Brenner has had two first place finishes and a 3rd place finish in the last four tournaments he has played!!! We are all SOOOOO proud of him!

OUR GOLF CHAMPION!

Brenner was so excited to share the big news with his Budsy, Weston!

I just love how you can literally SEE the love between these two special boys of mine!

Sooooooo sweet! Brenner can't wait to teach Weston how to golf someday!

Great-Granny Is Here!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We've had a VERY special visitor at our house for the past several days..........Weston's Great-Granny!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I can't even begin to express how meaningful it was for me to get to share my precious grandson with my Mom. She means sooooo much to me and I was beyond proud to show her just how SPECTACULAR our Scooty Bug really is!!! Of course, I'm always going on and on about Lish when I talk to my Mom on the phone or through emails or this blog or pictures, etc., but actually having her here to witness him firsthand was just the BEST! As you will see from ALL of the pictures, Weston and his Great-Granny had such fun together!

This picture makes my heart glow!

Secret little whispers from Great-Granny!

LOTS of kisses!

Scooty loved Great-Granny's "funny" voice (aka her German accent!)

Such a lucky little boy!

Juice & Kisses - WOO HOO!

Great-Granny brought us some of her YUMMY pound cake!

DELICIOUS!

Great-Granny even got in on some bath time!

Such special, special moments!
I will cherish this picture FOREVER!

Funny-Face Weston with his Silly Great-Granny!

Thank you SO much for coming to see us, Great-Granny! I love you to the moon and back! PLEASE come visit us again soon!

Uh OH............looks like we wore poor Great-Granny out!
