Busy Boy!

A typical afternoon with Weston at our house means things stay BUSY! Weston LOVES to play with his friends. Here he is bringing Jackson his milk. Weston is such a sweet, giving friend. He is so good about sharing and really enjoys being around other kiddos. I love the way his beautiful eyes light up every time he sees another child. So sweet!

He also gets a big kick out of programming Grandpa's stereo and then dancing to the music! It cracks me up that he knows EXACTLY which buttons to push, how to turn up the volume etc. - SUPER SMART!
Weston is fascinated by anything "hot" - candles, lights, lamps etc. Anytime he sees something like that, he gets a very serious look on his face, then points and says "hot" over and over again.
On this particular day, he ran all through the house showing me all of the "hot" things in a very concerned way. The candle on the coffee table...

The candle burning in the bathroom...

He also loves to just sit and chat - such a BIG BOY!

Eating is always a highlight as well... here he is enjoying his cookie before his lunch. Life is short, eat dessert first!

The "real" food wasn't too bad either!

Love that sweet fishy face!

Full of ketchup, as usual!

One more sip from his cool Halloween swirly straw!

All done and VERY defiantly STANDING in his booster chair - little rat! That bottom lip of his poking out is just too funny.

Yes, he's precious and yes, he's totally getting away with standing in his seat because of it! I'm weak when it comes to this Super Delicious Little Man of mine - what can I say???

Pasta loves surprises so I was thrilled to give him his Halloween bucket filled with all kinds of goodies that I had been collecting over the past few weeks. Of course, he spied his new passies right away! That is one nunny-sucking baby, just like his Mommy was!

He couldn't decide which one to try first, so he went for both of them - ha!

Next he was interested in a little black cat finger puppet type thing that I found at World Market. I had one just like it when I was a kid!

The bubbles were a HUGE hit!

I think Weston liked chewing on the bubble wand the best!

My favorite thing was his spooky spider socks! I adore his stinky little feet!

I absolutely LOVE when Pasta comes to visit and miss him SO much when he isn't here!

In CONSTANT Motion!

I remember the days when it was effortless to get a perfectly staged picture of Weston. I'd simply assemble the props and plop him down for a photo shoot. That ease is long gone, I'm afraid. This grandbaby love of mine likes to MOVE - ALL THE TIME! Bailey got Scoobs the cutest Halloween t-shirt and I sooooooo wanted a really good, super cheesy smiley picture of him wearing it to put into one of my Halloween frames. Are you kidding???? Getting Pasta to hold still for even one teeny tiny second just wasn't part of his plans...

I guarantee that Little Sneak knew good and well that I wanted him to look at me and grin his gorgeous grin. I can just see it in those mischievous eyes of his that he was having oh so much fun purposely not cooperating with his "Gwanny." Silly Mister. Oh well, any picture of my sweet boy is precious! I LOVE YOU & YOUR CUTIE PATOOTIE HALLOWEEN SHIRT, SCOOBS!!!

Sonogram Day!!!

September 22, 2011, was a VERY special day! On that day, we got to find out if Weston would be getting a baby brother or a baby sister! I wanted this day to be extra fun for Weston, so I made him a "Big Brother" bag filled with goodies!

He was VERY excited to check it out!

His expression in the picture below just melts me into a puddle...

The first thing he pulled out were his favorite candies - M&M's! Just look how he immediately wants to share them. Such a total snoogie!

Next came another fave - sour gummy worms - DELICIOUS!

Then there was a book entitled, "I'm A Big Brother"!!! So fun! Of course, I had to write a mushy note inside reminding my sweet boy that he will ALWAYS be my very first grandbaby love!

And another book - this one about animals, which Weston adores!

He can name sooooo many of the animals in the book - SUPER SMART!

Let's not forget the new laser gun - perfect for "shooting" his new baby "bwudda" or "sistah" if he/she dares to get into his stuff! Ha!

SUPER COOL with lights and sounds!

Once again.......melt..... I'd give this child the world, I tell ya - look at that SMILE - ACK!
So DELICIOUS!

A sweet kiss for Mommy!

Munching on the next treat in his bag - salt & vinegar Pringles - yummy! Weston and I love em'! Don't know if you can tell from the pic, but he has a stack of at least a dozen in his hand at one time - atta boy, Scoober!

Now back to the worms...

And he even tried to snack on the laser gun - ha!

Sharing worms with Great-Granny - such a PRICELESS picture!

Then we were off to the appt. and sitting in the waiting room. This Granny's heart was beating like CRAZY waiting to find out the news! Weston, on the other hand, was perfectly content playing with the pen from my purse...

and watching all the neat fish in the aquarium...

sipping on soda...

and reading all of his "bookies."

Then, it was OUR TURN to go into the sono room - yippee!

Here's beautiful Bailey getting all gooped up and ready! Such a happy 2nd time Mommy-To-Be!

Weston was SO good throughout the scan and intently watched the screen...

It didn't take long at all to see that he is getting a BABY BROTHER!!!

Little Cash Allen Archer wasn't shy at all about showing off his "boy parts", that's for sure! We were all SOOOOOOOO excited to find out the big news! Weston kept pointing to the screen and saying, "boy, boy, boy." My heart was just overflowing with joy! Weston and Cash are going to be SO GREAT together and the very BEST OF FRIENDS! The Archer Brothers...I just LOVE the sound of that! Most of all, we are so thankful that Cash is a healthy, strong baby. We are very, very grateful and blessed.

After the sonogram, Bailey had her regular OB appt. so I stayed out in the waiting room with the Little Man while Brian & Bailey met with the doctor. As always, that little Pasta charmed everyone in the room with his delicious smiles and sparkly personality...

It was an AMAZING day - one that I will NEVER forget! Because of my precious Weston, I now know the ultimate joy that is being a Granny. I can't wait to experience the same thing with Mr. Cash, and, more importantly, watching the two of them grow up together.

I LOVE YOU, WESTON & CASH!
