Let's Do Lunch!

A few weeks ago, we met up with some of Weston's cousins for lunch at Alamo Cafe - my personal fave restaurant! We met Lawrence, Payton, Preston, Auntie Brigitte, Ella, Easton, Great-Granny and Uncle "Bwenna". Of course, Bailey and I were there too. Here is our Delicious Little Man tossing pennies into the fountain and making himself a WISH!

Cousins Ella & Easton are VERY shy, and weren't so sure about all of us at first.


Scoober, however, was his usual CrAzY self, laughing and smiling at everyone! While we waited for our order, Weston stayed busy coloring with (and eating) the crayons - ha!

That beautiful smile of his knocks my socks off every single time!

Here he is acting silly with some of the toys that Payton & Preston brought to lunch and so sweetly shared with him. They were some kind of fuzzy, giant pipe cleaner type things that you could twist all sorts of ways and make various stuff with- FUN!

It took FOREVER to get our food. Weston almost fell asleep waiting.

After a while, little Easton warmed up to us a tiny bit and happily played with his chow.

Not little Miss Ella.......she ONLY wanted her Granny and wouldn't speak to any of us. So funny.

Hmmmm..........we need to get together with them more often so they won't be so shy around us. It was great to see everyone and we had a nice time.

FORE!!!

While Weston was recovering from his surgery, his "Auntie Neva" brought him his very own giant golf club and giant golf ball. Not only did Weston LOVE his gift, but I loved it too because he had been chasing the dogs around with REAL golf clubs just the day before, making a nice plastic club a very welcome relief!

Uncle Braydon and Aunt Chloe came for a visit. While they ate their lunch, Weston sat on the table and kept us all very entertained!

A package from Auntie Robin ALWAYS makes my day!!!

She is the bestest gift giver, package sender, fun stuff finder in the whole entire world!!!

Let's just say that I literally skipped back in the house to TEAR INTO THIS BABY!

As usual, Auntie Robin didn't fail me, oh no siree....just look at this sweet little package for our precious Scooty Bug!!! Anything for Scoober fills my heart with glee!

Weston was soooo excited to check out his goods!

but then I was bad....yes, I was... there just may have been some other goodies in the package that I was supposed to wait until closer to St. Patrick's Day to open, but but but....

Last Saturday, we gathered up the troops and headed out to Pappasito's for dinner to celebrate Bailey & Brenner's birthdays and Brian, Bailey and Weston's new casa!

Today is Uncle Brenner's 18th Birthday!!!

Scoots thought a swift punch in the nose would be the perfect way to start Brenner's special day!

Uncle Brenner was go glad to celebrate his first birthday as an Uncle!

Okay okay, I know he is 18 and practically all grown up, but I still love to make my "babies" feel special on their big day! Brenner may have acted like all the hoopla was corny, but I know he really liked it...especially the famous singing birthday mug that I always insist that my kiddos use on their birthdays. Despite being highly annoying, it really is lots of fun!

We're Still Here!

I know you haven't seen or heard much from us lately, but we're still around!

This cute guy has a big announcement......He has a beautiful, new house!

Yep, Bailey and Brian have started their big move and, after some SERIOUS elbow grease, their new digs are going to be GORGEOUS!

We are soooooo happy for them and excited to be involved with making their new home

a dream come true!

First, however, there's gonna be LOTS of this:

Trust me, it's a small miracle that Bailey is still smiling after the ENDLESS hours that the two of us have spent removing wallpaper. THAT, my friends, is the worst job EVER!

Scooty, meanwhile, has been doing lots of THIS while the rest of us slaaaaaaaave on house projects! Hmmmmmmm.............I suppose his supreme cutie pieness makes up for his complete job slacking - ha!
