Goooooo Brahmas!!!

Do you see that precious, cheesy smile??? It's my Delicious Little Man at his very first football game ever! We went to watch the MacArthur Brahmas take on the Smithson Valley Rangers last night at Blossom Stadium, and Weston couldn't have been more excited! Between the big stadium, the lights, all the people, the players, the band, the dancers, the noise, etc. etc., there was just SO much for him to take in - I loved every single second of watching him absorb it all.

Priceless. Just priceless.

Here he is with his beautiful Mommy! Bailey burst out into tears mere moments after we arrived just thinking about the prospect of Weston being big enough to play football someday as she proudly watches from the stands. What a sap....just like her own Mommy - ha!
Here's Daddy giving his big boy the low down on everything that's going on.....I know Brian had HUGE visions of Weston's football future dancing in his head as he reminisced about his own days out on the field.
Quietly listening to the prayer, announcements, etc.

Here come the Brahmas!!!

When the team ran out on the field, the band started to play and the crowd went crazy. The extreme excitement on Weston's face in this picture just melts me! I was SO happy to see HIM so happy! Just look at him getting fired up! Delicious.

No words necessary to explain how much fun our Scoober was having...

Once the game got underway, it became all about the snacks...

Weston started out with some big swigs of lemonade - it was HOT out there!

Next came sour gummy worms. One of my all time faves!

Weston likes to suck all of the sugar off of the top.

Then, sweet Auntie Brigitte showed up with all kinds of goodies - popcorn, peanuts, soda.....sure is nice to have "family in high places"! Auntie Brigitte is on the NEISD school board, so she gets us free football tickets and free refreshments......... LOVE IT! Weston got to see his cousins Kim, Lanyon, McKenna & Mason too - yippee!

Here's out "Pahstah" (yes, another nickname) digging into the peanuts and munching down!

He's very multi- talented....notice how he digs with one hand and clings tightly to his beloved Ollie with the other. A true genius.
A peanut pro!!!

Mind you.....these are peanuts still in the shell..... Nothing fazes this kiddo - he is AMAZING!!!

Back to the worms...while mesmerized by the game...

Flirting with EVERYONE around us and charming the crowd with his sweet smile!

You just can't even imagine the pride I felt introducing this grandbaby of mine to friends we saw at the game who haven't had the supreme privilege of meeting Weston yet.

My heart was BURSTING!

After SOOOO much excitement and no nap that day, the fatigue started to set in.
You can clearly see our Little Man's beautiful blues starting to droop...

Not long thereafter, that sweet boy kicked his shoes off for the night and drifted off to dream land....his pink piggies are totally edible, by the way!

I'm SO glad that I got to share this fun night with you, my munchkin. I will NEVER forget it and can't wait to go to LOTS more games with YOU!
