This morning, Chef Licious and I decided to make a big pot of pinto beans for dinner.
Sooooo..............Scoots turned on the lamp on the kitchen bar (one of his FAVORITE morning rituals) and got all ready to help me separate the pesky little rocks out of the dry beans.
It took about 2 seconds to realize that this little game was NOT going to work - let's just say "DRIED BEANS EVERYWHERE!!!" So, Chef Lishy played around with a bottle while I finished the task.
Then came time to soak the beans - now THIS task definitely peaked Scoobity's interest...it did involve water, after all, and everyone knows that kids love water! 
At first, his touch was a bit tentative... 
but that shy touch rapidly progressed into entire handfuls of water - you can probably picture the scene...
My kitchen was quickly becoming drenched.
Oh the joy!!!
WOO HOO!!! Nothing like ice cold water splashing everywhere at 6:45 in the morning in the kitchen of this sooo NOT a morning person Granny! Wow. Wow. Really wow.DEFINITELY time to move on to another project.
I LOVE YOU, CHEF LICIOUS!!! Thanks for making sure that I was totally WIDE awake today!
