Well, Grandpa still has a gimpy left knee. He is still on in home IV therapy and now has a wound vac hooked up to the surgical site on the knee which should help to accelerate healing. We sure hope that it works QUICK!
Here, Scoots is helping Grandpa show off his new "purse" - ha! It is actually the wound vac unit which poor Grandpa has to tote around 24/7, but we love to tease him about it!
Lish doesn't mind Grandpa having a "purse". He loves him NO MATTER WHAT!
Grandpa is bummed about how long his recovery is taking, but certainly loves getting to spend so much time with Scoots - aka "my little Bubba" as Grandpa likes to call him. That precious baby is good medicine, let me tell ya, and ALWAYS brings a smile to Grandpa's face! We love you, Dr. Licious!
